Friends,
The COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge the likes of which the world hasn’t seen in a century.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to anyone who has lost friends or family members to this virus.
Country NSW is hurting - and the spread of COVID-19 follows a difficult period with the drought and bushfires.
My thoughts are with everyone in rural or regional areas who has lost their job, their business or suffered hardship and isolation during this time.
The coronavirus has changed our society and the way we go about our lives – and we still have a long road ahead to recovery.
I want you all to know that you are in my thoughts.
Labor will continue to work constructively throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure people across NSW are cared for and nobody is left behind.
